Basketball Recap: Merritt Island Christian Cougars vs. Morningside Academy Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Merritt Island, Merritt Island Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over the Morningside Academy Eagles. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 51-39 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.
