Meanwhile, Hartsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 5-0 to South Florence.

Hartsville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was EmmaKate Hudson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Hartsville's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-4. As for Dillon, they dropped their record down to 1-7-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Dillon beat Hartsville 4-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dillon since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
