Basketball Game Preview: Weleetka Outlaws vs. Riverfield Country Day Ravens

The Weleetka Outlaws will take on the Riverfield Country Day Ravens at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.

Weleetka heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They lost 59-34 to Allen. The defeat continues a trend for the Outlaws in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Riverfield Country Day strolled past Porum with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 51-36.

Riverfield Country Day's win came from a few key players Weleetka will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Max Harper, who went 7-for-12 en route to 16 points. What's more, he also posted a 58% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anthony Harper, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Weleetka's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Riverfield Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Weleetka came up short against Riverfield Country Day in their previous matchup back in January, falling 55-44. Can Weleetka avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
