Wando had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They came out on top against the Mauldin Mavericks by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lily Mahoney paced Wando's offense, picking up eight kills. Mahoney got some help from McKenna St. Clair and her 21 assists. St. Clair was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wando's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Mauldin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Wando's road trip will continue as they head out to face Dorman at 8:24 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mauldin, they will face off against Daniel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
