Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tyngsborough). They put the hurt on the Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams with a sharp 6-1 win on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Tyngsborough needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Tyngsborough's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-4. As for Shawsheen Valley Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-1 record this season.

Tyngsborough will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Dracut at 3:00 p.m. Dracut's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Shawsheen Valley Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Greater Lowell Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
