Basketball Game Preview: Manton Rangers vs. Glen Lake Lakers

Manton has won 14 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Glen Lake has won 14 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Manton Rangers will be taking part in a tournament against the Glen Lake Lakers at 7:00 p.m. Manton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Manton saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 65-29 victory over St. Francis. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Glen Lake was able to grind out a solid win over Elk Rapids on Wednesday, taking the game 34-24.

Manton's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Glen Lake, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.

Manton didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Glen Lake when the teams last played back in January of 2020, but they still walked away with a 58-54 victory. Will Manton repeat their success, or does Glen Lake have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
