Basketball Game Preview: Cane Bay Cobras vs. Woodland Wolverines

The Cane Bay Cobras will venture away from home to challenge the Woodland Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cane Bay is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Cane Bay didn't have quite enough to beat Socastee and fell 29-26. That's two games in a row now that the Cobras have lost by exactly three points.

Meanwhile, Woodland played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Ashley Ridge, falling 58-22. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Swamp Foxes: they've now lost three in a row.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cane Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Cane Bay couldn't quite finish off Woodland when the teams last played on Monday and fell 26-23. Can Cane Bay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
