Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hug). They breezed by the Dayton Dust Devils to the tune of 58-27 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their 24-point performance the contest before.

It was another big night for Cori Carrier, who went 7 of 10 en route to 21 points along with six steals and five boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hug's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrea Trujillo, who posted ten points and four steals.

The win got Hug back to even at 3-3. As for Dayton, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hug will host Eureka at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Eureka will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Hug surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dayton, they will venture away from home to square off against South Tahoe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
