Basketball Recap: Jaxon Hall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tri County Northeast over Bloomfield

Tri County Northeast lost against Bloomfield back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bloomfield Bees. While the Wolfpack didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bees 12-8 in the first quarter.

Tri County Northeast's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxon Hall, who posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thatcher Lamp, who earned eight points and three steals.

Bloomfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Beau Eisenhauer led the charge by putting up 15 points. Eisenhauer's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Benjamin Dodge was another key player, scoring ten points.

Tri County Northeast has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Bloomfield, they pushed their record up to 6-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Tri County Northeast will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Omaha Nation on February 15th. Bloomfield will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Neligh-Oakdale at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
