Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Currituck County

Currituck County had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Hertford County Bears 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Currituck County not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hertford County between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Kaylee Saunders, who had five aces and one assist. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Saunders wasn't the only good servers: Currituck County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in four consecutive matches.

Currituck County's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Hertford County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.
