Basketball Game Preview: Wheaton North Falcons vs. Glenbard East Rams

The Wheaton North Falcons will square off against the Glenbard East Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenbard East took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Wheaton North, who comes in off a win.

Wheaton North can't be too worried about heading out to take on Glenbard East: they just beat Plainfield North at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Wheaton North snuck past Plainfield North with a 67-61 win on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Glenbard East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Elgin.

Wheaton North has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 17-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.9 points over those games. As for Glenbard East, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-15.

Wheaton North strolled past Glenbard East in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 63-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wheaton North since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
