Wilmington Christian Academy is 0-9 against Coastal Christian since December of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. Wilmington Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trent Davies led the charge by going 6-for-9 on his way to 14 points in addition to six assists and four steals. Davies is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Batts, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Wilmington Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Coastal Christian had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by Ashley and fell 75-42. The Centurions haven't had much luck with the Screaming Eagle recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Wilmington Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Coastal Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
