Carlisle County skates past St. Mary with ease

Recap: Carlisle County Comets vs. St. Mary Vikings
The Carlisle County Comets took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They blew past St. Mary 73-42 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-19.
Carlisle County was led to victory by Macee Hogancamp and Kiera Whitaker. Hogancamp dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Whitaker scored 22 points along with 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracyn Edging, who scored 11 points along with 4 steals.
Carlisle County's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for St. Mary, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle County will take on Paducah Tilghman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Mary, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hickman County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
