Basketball Recap: Armuchee Comes Up Short on the Road Against Temple

Armuchee had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 64-52 to the Temple Tigers on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Armuchee lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gio McFadden, who posted 12 points along with six boards and five steals. Owen Burk was another key player, putting up eight points and 11 rebounds.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Armuchee will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Coahulla Creek at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Temple, they will welcome Cedartown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
