Baseball Recap: Lead Hill Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lead Hill's offense. They came up short against the Flippin Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 17-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Lead Hill now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Flippin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Lead Hill will challenge Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Flippin, they will face off against Melbourne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
