Baseball Game Preview: West Vikings vs. North Stars

For the second straight game, West will face off against North. The Vikings will host the Stars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, West didn't have quite enough to beat North and fell 4-3.

For North's part, ALEJANDRO GALINDO was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Those three hits gave GALINDO a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of RILEY STONEBRAKER, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

North's win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-19. As for West, they dropped their record down to 6-18 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. West has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like North struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
