Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Comes Up Short

Cornerstone and Susan Moore squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Cornerstone had to settle for second. They lost 70-47 to the Susan Moore Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 118th).

This is the second loss in a row for Cornerstone and nudges their season record down to 13-8. As for Susan Moore, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-10.

As of now, neither Cornerstone nor Susan Moore have any future games scheduled.
