Top 100 sophomore high school basketball prospect Kiyan Anthony – the son of Carmelo Anthony – announced he would be transferring to Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.) via Twitter on Sunday.

The 6-foot-3 guard is regarded as the No. 62 prospect in Class of 2025 according to 247Sports and holds offers from Bryant, George Mason, Manhattan, Memphis and Syracuse.

Anthony has played with Christ the King (Middle Village, N.Y.) for the majority of the season, helping the Royals to an 18-4 record as a key reserve.
Long Island Lutheran (14-2) is currently ranked No. 4 in the MaxPreps Top 25. The Crusaders are fourth in the NIBC standings with a 6-2 record in their first year in the highly-competitive conference.

Although Anthony will practice with the team for the remainder of the season and is expected to enroll in school today, he will not be eligible to play in any games until next season due to the timing of his transfer.
