Volleyball Recap: Marcus Triumphs

Marcus's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Byron Nelson Bobcat 3-2.

Marcus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 15-8.

Marcus' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Byron Nelson, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marcus is set to take on their familiar foe Steele Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Byron Nelson will challenge rival Texas Academy of Math and Science on Tuesday.
