Football Recap: Dracut Takes a Loss

Dracut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a hard 22-6 fall against the Medford Mustangs. The Middies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.

Lyric DeLeon threw for 96 yards on eight of 19 attempts. Nathaniel Rom was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards.

Dracut's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Medford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Dracut will host Lowell Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Medford, they will square off against Arlington Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
