Mildred put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cross Roads Bobcats 50-6. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

A big part of Mildred's win came down to the chemistry between Luke McKendree and his top target Ashton Frye. McKendree threw for 120 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes while Frye rushed for 84 yards on only ten carries.

Mildred's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Seraphin Gillispie with two sacks.

Mildred's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points per game. As for Cross Roads, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Mildred will challenge Rio Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rio Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Mildred likes a good challenge. Cross Roads does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
