Sacred Heart Academy strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the West Haven Blue Devils by a score of 3-1. The Sharks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

Sacred Heart Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 24-26, 25-16, 25-15.

JJ Kirck produced another solid effort getting 19 digs and three aces. What's more, she racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Kirck wasn't the only good servers: Sacred Heart Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Sacred Heart Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for West Haven, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

Sacred Heart Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Wilbur Cross on the 3rd. West Haven has also already played their next contest (against Career Magnet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
