Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Shawnee walked away with it. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Versailles Tigers on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

The result came thanks to Byanca Dubie's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ava George, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Olivia Hart, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Shawnee's record now sits at 26-3. As for Versailles, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.

As of now, neither Shawnee nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
