Cleburne took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Benbrook Bobcats. The win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Kadence Quzma, who went a perfect4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Karma James, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Benbrook now has a losing record at 1-2.

Looking ahead, Cleburne will host Greenwood at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday. As for Benbrook, they will square off against Everman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
