Damonte Ranch had won six straight games and Drew Dodson did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Damonte Ranch Mustangs walked away with a 62-52 victory over the Galena Grizzlies thanks in part to Dodson, who went 9-for-12 on his way to 26 points. What's more, he also posted a 75% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024.

Jeriah Macias was another key player, putting up 13 points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Galena lost, don't look at Zakery Smrt. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-11 to rack up 19 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ben Imse, who posted 11 points.

Damonte Ranch pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Galena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.
