Leesville Road has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Rolesville has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Pride will host the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Friday, Leesville Road really took it to Corinth Holders for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-10 victory. Given the Pride's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Pirates are ranked 134th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Damacio Cueto was his usual excellent self, throwing for 343 yards and six touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes. Those six passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Jayden Lee Perry was Cueto's top target, picking up 71 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Leesville Road's defense and their five sacks. Gavin Lennon was especially locked on to Corinth Holders' QB and sacked him three times.
Meanwhile, while Rolesville put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Athens Drive. The Rams blew past the Jaguars 74-0. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Rams had established a 62-point advantage.
Leesville Road better focus on containing Amir Brown and Kaleb Williams as the pair were huge in Rolesville's win. Brown rushed for 84 yards and two scores, while Williams threw for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Williams' passing game has become a key predictor of Rolesville's success: the team is 4-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Rolesville proved: they limited Athens Drive to a paltry 0.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Jaden Colson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Rolesville didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.7.

Leesville Road suffered a grim 47-24 defeat to Rolesville when the teams last played back in November of 2021.
