Volleyball Recap: Ritenour Beats KIPP for Their Third Straight Victory

Ritenour had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the KIPP Wolves by a score of 2-0.

Ritenour easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19.

D'Asiah Whitt paced Ritenour's offense, picking up five kills. Whitt got some help from Alison Killion and her ten assists. Whitt also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Valentina Sabogal, each putting up three.

Ritenour's win bumped their record up to 6-18-2. As for KIPP, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Ritenour wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Affton on the 11th. As for KIPP, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against University City on the 11th.
