Football Recap: St.Ignace Saints vs. North Central Jets
On Thursday, the St.Ignace Saints had to suffer through a 58-6 loss at the hands of the North Central Jets.
Lane Gorzinski was nothing short of spectacular for North Central: he rushed for 229 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Gorzinski really tore up the turf during one magnificent 94-yard run. Kaden Malone was another key rusher, gaining 155 total yards and a touchdown.
St.Ignace's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Central, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
St.Ignace will take on Cedarville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Central, they will face off against Stephenson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
