Volleyball Recap: Richfield Takes a Loss

After flying high against Carbon last Wednesday, Richfield came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the North Sanpete Hawks on Tuesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11, 25-13.

Jerzy Moon paced Richfield's offense, picking up 11 kills. Moon got some help from Adrie Seely and her 22 assists. Finally, Hayden White kept Richfield's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Richfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for North Sanpete, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Richfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Providence Hall on the 11th. As for North Sanpete, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Manti on the 11th.
