St. Maries came out on top against Grangeville on Friday thanks in part to Addyson Stewart's efforts. Stewart wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Stewart's strong effort led St. Maries over Grangeville and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
