Basketball Game Preview: Stansbury Stallions vs. Gunnison Valley Bulldogs

The Stansbury Stallions will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Stansbury is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Stansbury is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Morgan on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Stansbury was dealt a 73-35 loss at the hands of Morgan. The Stallions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-14.

Meanwhile, Gunnison Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 59-55 to Draper APA. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 12-6 in the first quarter.

Stansbury's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Gunnison Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
