Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Covina). They blew past the Garey Vikings 15-0 on Friday. The Bulldogs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 23, 2024.

Leslie Baustista was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those hits were her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two).

In other batting news, West Covina let Danielle Diaz and Sophia Adler run wild. Diaz scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Adler scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
