Swansboro found their leader in sophomore Addison King, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals. The dominant performance gave King a new career-high in steals. Grace Jass was another key player, putting up eight points and five steals.
Swansboro was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
West Carteret has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow last Wednesday as they fell 39-24 to J.H. Rose. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Swansboro will have to contain Maddie Steidl as she made an impact in West Carteret's last game. She posted six points and eight rebounds.
