Softball Recap: Rancho Mirage's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Rancho Mirage couldn't beat La Quinta on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Rattlers came up short against the Blackhawks, falling 20-7. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-0 loss back in March.

Dayanara Marquez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Reyna Vergara, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
