Volleyball Recap: McCutcheon Comes Up Short

McCutcheon lost against Harrison last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mavericks fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1.

While McCutcheon ultimately came up short, they really made Harrison work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 19-25, 15-10.

Kai Inoue paced McCutcheon's offense, picking up ten kills. Inoue got some help from Kieraan Jordan and his 22 assists.

Luke Baker was the offensive standout of the match as he had five digs and two aces.

McCutcheon's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Harrison, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

McCutcheon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lebanon on the 3rd. As for Harrison, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pike on the 3rd.
