Baseball Recap: Caro Takes a Loss

Caro made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Garber, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Dukes by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Dukes recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Caro got a good showing from Mark Warren, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Warren has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Caro's loss dropped their record down to 13-9-1. As for Garber, their record is now 8-5-1.

While Caro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
