Mountain View dropped down to 4-2 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They had to suffer through a 35-6 loss at the hands of the Hamilton Huskies. The contest marked the Toros' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

TIERAH METCALF threw for 171 yards and one TD. EMMA FISCHBECK was her top target, picking up 80 receiving yards.

As for Hamilton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Hamilton found their leader in sophomore Marlie Phillips, who threw for 287 yards and four touchdowns. Phillips has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last 16 times she's played.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will host Higley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Mountain Ridge at 6:00 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Phillips and Amiaya Tice.
