Baseball Recap: Penns Grove Starts Season with Loss at Home

Penns Grove unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 11-1 to the Pitman Panthers on Wednesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Pitman's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

While Penns Grove had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
