Soccer Recap: Somersworth Takes a Loss

Somersworth was the 4-0 winner over Sanborn Regional when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Toppers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 1-0 on Monday.

Somersworth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Sanborn Regional, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somersworth will host Manchester West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sanborn Regional, they will challenge Conant at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sanborn Regional will be up against Conant's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.67 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
