Softball Recap: Hathaway Takes a Loss

Hathaway lost against Midland back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets came up short against the Rebels, falling 20-4.

Hathaway's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-2. As for Midland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season.

Hathaway will be playing at home against Washington-Marion at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Midland, they will head out on the road to square off against Lafayette at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 10.9 runs per game this season.
