Soccer Recap: University Comes Up Short

University lost against Venice back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The University Wildcats lost 4-0 to the Venice Gondoliers. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 699th, while the Gondoliers are ranked 91st).

University is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for Venice, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

As of now, neither University nor Venice have any future games scheduled.
