Seniors weighing college decisions are garnering much of the attention this time of year, but the buzz is building for stars in the Class of 2015 after getting their first taste of high school action this winter.

It's time to take an introductory look at the next wave of talent with the Class of 2015 Watch List, featuring 75 young players we expect to star at the prep level and develop into highly-coveted collegiate prospects.

Among the freshmen making the most noise during the 2011-12 season;

Southern California was home to a trio of ultra-productive rookie guards in Tyler Dorsey, Aaron Holiday and Marcus LoVett Jr. Dorsey posted 22.1 points, 9.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game at Ribet Academy (Los Angeles). Holiday followed in the footsteps of brothers Justin and Jrue at Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, Calif.), putting up 24.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, LoVett Jr. led all freshmen nationally in scoring at 31.7 points per game.

Mickey Mitchell provided solid support for Kansas-bound senior Zach Peters and super junior Julius Randle at Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas). The 6-foot-7 wing contributed 10.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per outing for the nationally-ranked Lions.

Malik Newman entered his freshman year at Callaway (Jackson, Miss.) with one of the nation's biggest reps coming out of middle school and didn't disappoint. The combo guard tallied 22.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while leading the Chargers to a state title.

Karl Towns, a 6-9 post comfortable stroking it from beyond the arc, starred during a 28-2 season for St. Joseph (Metuchen, N.J.) that finished one win shy of an appearance in the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions title game.
