Football Recap: Village Christian Starts Season with Loss at Home

Village Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Immaculate Heart Pandas on Wednesday.

The victory got Immaculate Heart back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Village Christian will challenge rival Bishop Alemany at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will give the Crusaders their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Immaculate Heart is set to take on their familiar foe SEED: LA on Monday. This will also be the Pandas' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
