Football Game Preview: Delcastle Technical Cougars vs. DuPont Tigers

The Delcastle Technical Cougars will venture away from home to face off against the DuPont Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Delcastle Technical made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Concord, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 14-12 on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the Cougars' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Although Delcastle Technical took the loss, they still got scores from Keith Ruley and Marcus Costen.

Meanwhile, DuPont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Glasgow, falling 21-0.

DuPont's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Delcastle Technical, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Delcastle Technical was dealt a bruising 37-0 defeat at the hands of DuPont in their previous meeting back in October of 2016. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
