Basketball Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Comes Up Short

St. Luke's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Leroy Bears an easy 68-47 victory. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

St. Luke's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Leroy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

St. Luke's Episcopal will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on W.S. Neal at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. St. Luke's Episcopal has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Leroy, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Mobile Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th.
