There's no place like home for Chambers, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Myers Park Mustangs on Tuesday, sneaking past 66-64. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Chambers got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lavonte 'LJ' Jackson Jr. out in front who posted 13 points and six boards. That's the most points Jackson Jr. has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Quentel 'QJ' Young, who earned 16 points.

The win got Chambers back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chambers will challenge Palisades at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Myers Park, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Davidson Day at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
