Volleyball Recap: Hesperia Takes a Loss

Hesperia and St. Margaret squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Hesperia had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tartans, falling 3-0. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-11.

Despite the defeat, Hesperia saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dylanna Akwaboah had 25 assists and ten digs. Akwaboah has been hot for a while, having posted 25 or more assists the last 12 times she's played.

Hesperia's loss dropped their record down to 25-4. As for St. Margaret's, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.

As of now, neither Hesperia nor the Tartans have any future games scheduled.
