Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pilot Rock). They put the hurt on the Elgin Huskies with a sharp 13-3 win on Tuesday. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Tracen Hamby made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Pilot Rock is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-4 otherwise. Hamby was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. Those stolen bases marked the first that he has snagged this season.
