Conner came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Boone County Rebels with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Conner walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-18.

Makena Marks was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last seven matches.

Conner's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Boone County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record this season.

Conner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Simon Kenton on the 14th. As for Boone County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Newport Central Catholic on the 14th.
