Volleyball Recap: Overton Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

There's no place like home for Overton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos on Saturday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-15.

Daisy Ryan paced Overton's offense, picking up 18 kills. Ryan got some help from Kyla Elfgren and her 35 assists.

Overton pushed their record up to 26-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Wauneta-Palisade, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 20-12.

Coming up, Overton will take on Southwest at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wauneta-Palisade does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
